This sound was made by swaying a half-full (like a dangerously incurable optimist) bottle of water, creating these little bloops that remind me of the comical sound effects in animated films. The sounds that accompany magical characters diving into lakes full of sparkling biodiversity and undiscovered underworlds and a whole Atlantis of subterranean life. Submerged inside little water droplet-cacoons, leaving behind trails of fireworks of bubbles and foamy water.
A bit like the stunning cover of this album by Weyes Blood, which has been keeping me company these past days.
