About
Things I like about this noise
- It's one of the most calming sounds I know
- How many variables can change the sound you produce: the length of the pencil and the kind of grip it enables, the pressure applied, the amplitude of the colour sample, the angle at which the pencil is held, sharpness, the shape you are drawing and angles you're producing, maybe even the density of the pigments and how they react with the paper
- The hollow, echoey effect of picking up a bunch of pencils with my hand, a bit like wooden pick-up sticks
