Things I like about this noise

• The initial and final clicks
• The slow build-up as the kettle boils the water, and how you are left with the sound of water bubbling away as the kettle is turned off
• The accompanying steam coming out, making little clouds in the kitchen
• How it's part of the ritual of making tea, and taking the time to do so
