Things I like about this noise

• How tricky it was to actually find pleasant things about it. I suppose it makes its call for urgency quite efficient - it wouldn't be such a functional sound if it was a little more indulgent
• It reminds me of the same urgency of beeping car signals that tell you to fasten your seat belt - primitive and repetitive, like 'quick, act now, or we will exasperate you forever'
• When you synchronise the closing of the fridge door to stop the next beep precisely on time
