Things I like about this noise

• The lingering reverb at the end, like the satisfying sound of a spring on a trampoline
• That it simply tells you that your toast is done. A bit like a microwave, waiting for your toast to be ready is not long enough to do anything meaningful, but long enough to feel time passing by as you wait for it to be ready - making it a much anticipated sound
• That it accompanies this endearing little movement of a piece of toast popping up
