About

Once the body is formed, the shell enters the paint shop, ready to gain its colour. It first goes through a series of cleaning processes, to ensure the paint adheres properly. The body is then coated with zinc phosphate, providing a crucial foundation to prevent rust and ensure the best finish. Next, it is submerged in a large electronically charged tank, allowing anti-corrosive paint to reach every internal and external surface evenly. After, the body is baked then enters the "Clean Room" where primer and top coats are applied in a series of spray booths. Painting a car is a precise science, requiring careful attention at every stage.
