The Wisbech Swan Register is a graphic showing the markings put on swans' beaks to show who owned which swan, while they grazed on common land. It's also the inspiration for our subscription box wrappers, designed by the Cambridge Art Makers.

Key Points: early 18<sup>th</sup> c; Wisbech; shows the markings of swan beaks; branded or cut: keeping and marking mute swans was a privilege granted by the Crown to show ownership; nowadays use leg-bands.
